Meet Morgan

Asian-American filmmaker based in Vancouver, BC, Morgan Tien has spent the last decade moving from solo videographer to full-service producer, honing his craft across documentaries, branded films, and narrative projects.

His roots in action-sports filmmaking still influence his style and adventurous approach. Shooting in remote landscapes like the Himalayas, Tien Shan and Arctic Circle have proven the capacity for bold adventure. Working with institutions and leaders like Dr. Suzanne Simard, who need stories told with precision and detail is the core of Tien Studios mission.

Morgan continues to direct, produce, and shoot projects while leading a collective of trusted collaborators to scale productions of any size.
